I'm currently VP of Marketing at Maker Studios, a short-form video company (and subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company), where I oversee the company’s digital marketing initiatives, social video distribution, social media partnerships and off-YouTube audience strategy + development. With nearly 10 years of marketing experience, I've led teams across creative, production, marketing, programming, editorial, PR, sales and branded entertainment.
Prior to Maker, I led Yahoo’s Global Social Editorial across the company's key media properties including Yahoo! News, Finance, Sports, Entertainment, and TV. I oversaw social editorial strategy as well as partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and more. I began my career in traditional marketing but found my passion in online marketing after pioneering interactive marketing for Sun Microsystems and Miramax.
Received B.A. in Anthropology at UCLA with a focus on cultural and biological anthropology.
